I’m a size 20 and I love showing off my body in a bikini – I’m fat and don’t care what people think
A WOMAN has revealed that she spent years trying to shrink her body to please others, but has now learnt to love her “fat” body and often takes to social media to show it off.
Allison Kimmey is a size 20 woman, who describes herself as “visibly plus-size.”
She explained that she has learnt to love her body and won’t stop showing it off in a bikini online, regardless of what people think.
As a result, she now sees herself as “sexy” and “fearless.”
She recently took to TikTok to show off her curvy body, in a strappy pink bikini.
She shared a video with the caption ‘Less shrinking, more living life to the fullest’ as she said: “My body doesn’t fit society’s standards.”
Allison noted: “And I tried tirelessly over a decade to shrink myself to make others feel comfortable.
“Then I realised that by trying to shrink my body, all I was really doing was shrinking my life.
“Now my body is bigger and much more importantly, my life is fuller than ever.”
In the clip, we saw Allison get in and out of a swimming pool, as she confidently strutted around in her bright pink swimwear.
Her clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 324.6k views.
It has 12.2k likes, 224 comments and 152 shares.
Social media users were incredibly supportive of Allison and were eager to praise her newfound confidence in the comments.
One person said: “Get it, girl! I will always wear what I want, when I want if it makes me feel good! You’re rocking it!”
Another added: “You look absolutely stunning! Show them what you got and be proud of it girl!”
A third commented: “You go girl!”
Meanwhile, in another clip, posted on International Women’s Day, Allison sang along to a song titled ‘I Am Woman.’
She shared a variety of videos, posing in bikinis, as she beamed with happiness.
The lyrics sang: “I am woman, I am fearless, I am sexy, I’m divine, I’m unbeatable, I’m creative, honey, you can get in line.
“I am feminine, I am masculine, I am anything I want, I can teach you, I can love you, if you got it going on.”
