Gogglebox stars look worlds away from the sofa as they pose for mirror selfie at ‘normal job’
GOGGLEBOX fans are used to seeing Daniel Lustig and Stephen Webb sitting on a sofa, but in reality the couple run a busy hair salon.
The stars of the hit show gave followers an insight into their day jobs as they posed at work – looking a far cry from the telly.
In the snap, the pair are both seen wearing navy jumpers and jeans, as Daniel joked: “Husbands twinning at work.”
The couple own a salon in Hurstpierpoint called Lustig and Webb, which is very popular amongst those in the Brighton area.
Stephen is the show’s longest serving star and has been on Gogglebox since the first ever series in 2013.
He appeared on the sofa alongside his pal Chris Ashby-Steed until 2017.
He was later joined by husband Daniel in 2019, after marrying in 2018.
They have owned the salon for over seven years.
Stephen did his training with Toni and Guy and worked with them for 15 years all over the world before starting his own business.
Speaking previously about having a salon in a small village, Stephen told The Argus: “It’s been such an amazing little business and we’ve got a great clientele.
“We feel that some people may not think they’re going to earn much in a village, but that’s nonsense because you do – and they may think it’s only people of a certain age who come in here, but there’s a really buzzy evening life in Hurstpierpoint – the pubs and restaurants are normally always busy.
“It took me some convincing to open a salon there at first, rather than in Brighton, but we decided to go with it and never looked back.”
