I’m plus-size – I did a Skims swim haul, the bikini was ‘everything’ and people say I look ‘amazing’
A PLUS-SIZE influencer shared her thoughts on the Skims swim collection.
The curvy creator said the brown two-piece was “everything” and described it as an “instant love.”
TikTok user Al (@alex_hummer) explained: “I’m reviewing swimsuits for plus-size girls this season.
“I leave for spring break soon and next up we have Skims,” she said.
In her video, Al tried on the $48 swim tank top in the color Cocoa, along with the matching $38 swim mid-waist bottoms.
“Literally bury me in this suit,” the fashion influencer wrote in the clip’s caption.
She continued: “This is an instant love. I love this color, this is everything to me.
“The fit is great, the top I probably could’ve gone down. The bottoms are perfect,” Al told viewers as she modeled the stylish look.
The TikToker added: “Look at the color. This is everything to me right now.
“Skims, you’ve done it again. Put me in an ad because I love you and this swimsuit was literally made for me,” Al said.
The influencer layered the matching $54 swim ruched mini skirt over the look.
Al said: “The skirt is adjustable, you can change how scrunched up it is, you can pull the scrunch to the side. This is perfect.
“This is everything, the color, the cut, the fit. It’s rare for a plus-size girl to find something that fits this well from a regular clothing brand,” the curvy creator explained.
She detailed: “I love Skims. I recently learned the trick is to size two sizes up, which is unfortunate because it knocks down the size inclusivity of their website.
“But for me, I got to do what I got to do,” the influencer told her viewers.
Al concluded: “I feel so pretty, I feel so good in this. Are you kidding me?
“So as you can tell, I’m obsessed, 10/10 for Skims. This one is 100 percent going on vacation,” she said.
