Pi Day 2023: Where to find pizza deals (plus a math party) on Tuesday, 3/14

Pi Day (3/14) falls on Tuesday this year. But you don’t have to remember that pi represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter (we always have to look that up) to take advantage of these pizza pie and other pie-related promotions.
FIRST … THE PARTY: San Francisco’s Exploratorium, which created this holiday back in 1988, will host a celebration of what it calls “the irrational, transcendent, and never-ending ratio that helps describe circles of all sizes.” Tuesday’s event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature numerical fun, a salute to women in math, a pi parade and wrap up with the eating of pie.
