[Men's Bowling] SXU Men's Bowling Qualifies for ITC National Tournament

Addison, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University men's bowling team punched its ticket to the Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) National Tournament with their third-place finish in the ITC Sectional Qualifier this weekend at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill. The Cougars collected 13,122 pins in 64 Baker Games over Saturday and Sunday and earned one of the four qualifying bids to the 12-team Tournament that takes place at South Point Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. that takes place from April 19-21 with the championship on April 22. It is the first time in program history that SXU will be competing at the ITC National Tournament. Joining them from their sectional are Webber International University (Fla.) with 13,855 pins, Mount Mercy University (Iowa) with 13,176 pins and Lawrence Tech University (Mich.) with 13,061 pins.
