Multiple families displaced after fire at Manchester apartment complex
Multiple families were displaced after a three-alarm fire broke out at a Manchester apartment complex on Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
Manchester Fire/Rescue/EMS responded to Aspen Woods apartments at 39 Buckland Street around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday for a structure fire, according to officials. The fire was visible upon arrival and spread to multiple units.
The American Red Cross provided assistance to 29 families, which included 51 adults and 14 children, to meet their immediate needs. Those affected will connect with caseworkers in the coming days to work on a longer-term recovery plan.
