Teen boy rushed to hospital after suffering cardiac arrest at trampoline park
A TEENAGE boy who suffered a cardiac arrest at a trampoline park has been rushed to hospital.
Emergency services were called to Jump Inc in Benyon Park, Holbeck, Leeds, on Thursday morning.
Police and paramedics arrived on site at around 10.56am and the youngster was rushed to hospital by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The traumatic event resulted in the temporary closure of the trampoline park.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said yesterday: “At 10.56am today [March 17] police received a report of a teenage male requiring medical attention at Jump Inc in Benyon Park Way, Leeds.
“The male has been taken to hospital for further treatment.
“Enquiries are continuing at the scene and the centre remains closed at this time.”
In a statement posted on Thursday night, Jump Inc said: “Due to ongoing speculation, Jump Inc have decided to release a further statement in relation to the incident at our park today.
“A customer suffered a cardiac arrest whilst attending Jump Inc Leeds and we would very much appreciate if respect is given to the family at this difficult time.”
People have shared messages of support for the teen and his family under Jump Inc’s post.
One person wrote: “Hope the child makes a speedy recovery.”

“It was just awful and my thoughts are purely with the young boy and his family. Well done for the overwhelming response by the emergency services. Come on young boy we are rooting for you,” said a third.
