Behati Prinsloo is giving Adam Levine the ‘cold shoulder’ & ‘rejection signals’ after cheating allegations, says expert
JUST months after Adam Levine was accused of cheating on wife Behati Prinsloo, the couple stepped out at a charity event in Los Angeles.
But one body language expert said she isn’t sure the scandal has blown over, since Prinsloo’s giving her husband “the cold shoulder.”
Levine, 43, accompanied his wife to a Women’s Cancer Research Fund benefit on Thursday.
Prinsloo, 34, gave birth to her third child in January. The couple has kept tight-lipped about “mistress” Sumner Stroh’s accusations.
Despite the couple’s united front, body language expert Judi James said there’s simmering tension between them.
“The body language power signals are all Behati’s in these poses,” James told The U.S. Sun.
She pointed at Prinsloo’s front-and-center position in the red carpet snaps as evidence.
The Victoria’s Secret model holds “an overall air of what looks like defiance and even some rejection signals,” James said.
That’s bad news for the Maroon 5 rocker, who James said seems like is trying to placate his spurned wife.
“Adam leans in towards her, almost as though she is the strong one in the relationship,” James said.
Levine keeps one hand on Prinsloo’s hip, making him look “attached.”
Meanwhile, Prinsloo stands in front of him doing “a classic power pose.”
James said Prinsloo faces the cameras “with her arms straight down to her sides with no response to his touch rituals.”
And when Levine makes a move to be more affectionate, James said Prinsloo’s cold response is telling.
“When Adam moves in for the smooch their pose becomes even more awkward-looking,” James said.
Rather than kiss back, Prinsloo “does an open-mouthed smile that looks like an amused rejection.”
The expert said Prinsloo shuts him out completely, “rather than reciprocating his act of adoration.”
“She raises her right shoulder to him, looking like the ‘cold shoulder’ and brings her right arm away from him,” James said.
Last year, Levine addressed the rumors of infidelity and denied having an affair.
Speaking to TMZ, he said, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.
“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.
“In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
He added: “My wife and my family are all I care about in this world.”
