HELEN Skelton has joked she’s “ruining her kids lives” in a very honest post about her life as a single mum of three.
The Countryfile star, who split with her ex Richie Myler last year, has been busy parenting their children while juggling her TV work.
Helen, 39, who is mum to Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and Elsie, one, took to her Instagram to open up about “ruining her kids lives”.
Posting a series of snaps of herself with her kids for Mother’s Day, the TV star penned a very open post about motherhood.
Among the snaps was a stories post of her youngest son Louis crouching in a ball on the floor, crying over a parenting mistake.
The sweet tot looked casual in a black and white tracksuit as he covered his eyes and sulked over Helen’s parenting.
However, Helen was quick to make her fans laugh as she revealed that her son’s life had been “ruined” by the way she tied his laces.
“Reality… When you’re ‘ruining their life’ because of the way you tie a trainer lace,” she penned to her Instagram following.
“All part of the adventure we get to call parenting.”
Helen’s eight-year marriage to Richie fell apart early in 2022, not long after she had given birth to their third child, Elsie.
The rugby player has since moved on and is expecting another child with his current girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Helen has reportedly grown close to fellow Strictly star Vito Coppola after going on tour together.
The Mirror claims that the Countryfile presenter and the hunky Italian pro “bonded” after spending a lot of time together on the tour bus.
However, we revealed last week that Helen is set to take part in Celebs Go Dating after her split from Richie.
A source said: “Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch.
“The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.
“They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interested in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind.”
