Gisele Bundchen breaks silence on wild claim she’s dating Tom Brady’s billionaire friend after divorce from NFL legend
GISELE Bundchen has denied the “absurd” rumor she’s been dating Tom Brady’s billionaire friend Jeffrey Soffer after splitting from the NFL legend.
The real-estate tycoon, 55, has been Brady’s long-time friend and helped the retired quarterback, 45, found his Florida residence back when he was still with the Brazilian supermodel.
Bundchen, 42, opened up about divorcing the NFL icon in an interview for a Vanity Fair cover story.
And during the chat, Gisele vehemently denied being involved in any way with Soffer, an ex-husband of fellow supermodel Elle Macpherson.
“I have zero relationship with him in any way,” Bundchen told the magazine, calling the rumors “absurd.”
“He’s Tom’s friend, not my friend.”
Bundchen reportedly was “devastated” by the reports of her alleged relationship with Soffer.
“I wouldn’t be with [Brady’s] friend. I wouldn’t be with this guy,” she added.
“I mean, puh-leeze. They were saying I’m with this guy, he’s old, because he’s got money — it’s ridiculous.”
Bundchen also suggested someone must have “planted” the story to make her look bad.
In the same interview, Gisele pushed back against suggestions Brady’s retirement U-turn in 2022 was to blame for their breakup.
She also denied giving the seven-time Super Bowl champion an ultimatum, making him choose between his football career and their marriage.
Bundchen called such characterizations “very hurtful” and “the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”
She added: “Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever,” she said.
“If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer.
“I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart.”
