Danniella Westbrook reveals amazing singing voice as she sings to stunned holidaymakers in Portugal
DANNIELLA Westbrook is famous for many thing – but singing isn’t likely to be the first one that springs to mind.
But the former EastEnders actress, 49, wowed drinkers at a bar in Portugal after she got up in stage and took the mic.
Daniella – who recently quit the UK – was at O’Shea’s Irish Pub in Vilamoura when she revealed her hidden talent.
She was invited up on stage and performed the Tina Turner classic Proud Mary to astonished onlookers.
One said: “Danniella recently moved to Portugal and she’s getting to know all the locals. She’s loving it and is really starting to feel part of the community.
“While enjoying her evening with friends she was asked to join the singer on stage and sang a rendition of Proud Mary.
“Everyone was shocked at how amazing her voice was. Many in the crowd were even singing along.”
Danniella, who rose to fame as EastEnders’ Sam Mitchell, took to the stage in a long dress and a wide-brimmed hat.
Her singing abilities perhaps shouldn’t be a surprise – she started going to the famous Sylvia Young stage school when she was eight.
She first appeared in EastEnders as an extra when she was 11 later going for the part of Sam when she was 16.
Danniella recently told fans she was hoping to buy a pub in Portugal – even saying she would call it the Queen Vic.
Showing fans the outside, she asked: “What is it with me and old properties? I really want to buy this. Look at this pub.
“The Irish Harp… well, obviously it would be called The Westbrook or maybe The Queen Vic.”
