Vermont built a 5-0 lead before UAlbany senior attack Jack Pucci finally broke the ice with 5:33 left in the second quarter.
"Definitely disappointed in our overall energy of the entire team," UAlbany coach Scott Marr said. "For some reason, just didn't have it. Just wasn't there. It's hard to explain why we're not excited and energetic to play a team that's beaten us quite a few times in a row."
