I went to the Costco food court for the first time – the food was cheap but I can’t say I was impressed
A FOOD fan has taken to social media to document her first ever trip to the Costco food court.
Posting on TikTok under the username @ilovefriedchikn, the foodie recorded herself eating some of the staple Costco food items.
She then gave her honest thoughts and rated each item, leaving many open-mouthed.
The social media user said: “What I ordered my first time at the Costco food court.”
To start, the chicken lover tried a chicken bake, as she explained: “First up we have the chicken bake.”
The woman took a large bite of the bake and rated this yummy snack an 8.5 out of 10.
However, she noted: “Maybe a little overdone today.”
Following this, the foodie added: “Next we got a pepperoni slice [of pizza].”
The foodie tucked into the large pizza slice, but wasn’t totally impressed.
She rated it a 6.7 out of 10 and explained: “Pepperoni was good but overall too greasy for me.”
Finally, the food fan put the famous Costco hot dog to the test.
She continued: “Lastly a glizzy.”
But the social media user was certainly not blown away, as she rated it an average 6.5 out of 10.
She then described it as: “Pretty mid.”
The woman’s clip has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 862.1k views.
It has 62.7k likes, 186 comments and 135 shares.
Many social media users took to the comments to share their love of Costco food.
One person said: “Costco hot dogs till I die” to which the food fan responded “Will have to try it again with ketchup.”
Another added: “Nooo I love Costco pizza I thought you would like it! To which the food explained “It was just so greasy. I am not the biggest fan of greasy pizzas but the cheese and pepperoni were good.”
A third commented: “The chicken fingers and poutine is SO GOOD.”
Whilst another Costco fan posted: “I love Costco so much.”
Meanwhile, someone else noted: “It’s not about the taste it’s about the value” to which the foodie replied “I 100% agree! That’s why I love trying places like this.”
