I jet to Russia to get all my beauty treatments done – I have hair, nails & lashes, the price makes it totally worth it
A WOMAN has revealed that she jets to Russia for her beauty treatments instead of getting them done in the country she lives in.
Elena, who lives in Sweden, shared a TikTok video explaining exactly why she prefers to get her beauty fill in Russia compared to the Scandinavian country.
The beauty fan headed to Moscow for her glow up and revealed exactly how much each treatment cost her in the video posted to her account (@el.eng).
She said: One thing that is definitely better in Russia compared to Sweden is beauty industry.
“Due to high demand, beauticians compete for to provide best service and make it affordable.”
After stepping off the plane Elena revealed that she headed straight to the hair salon to get her blonde hair touched up.
The beauty fan revealed that her hair took five hours to finish and she payed just 9,000 ruble (£100) for the final results.
The next day, Elena was busy getting her nails done, this time by her cousin.
While it was technically free for Elena, she revealed a standard manicure would cost around 1,500 ruble (£15).
The final stop for Elena was the lash clinic to get a full set of lash extensions.
She added: “I got used to living without lash extensions but decided to get them done anyway.”
She spent 1,900 ruble (£20) on a full set – which on average cost £70 in the UK.
In total, Elena spent just £135 on the three treatments, a huge saving compared to getting them done in the UK or in Sweden where she lives.

The video has since gone viral with over 350k views and over 39,000 likes.
People quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts on jetting to Russia for beauty treatments.
Many claimed Russia was great for cheap but high quality beauty services, while others claimed other countries were cheaper.
One wrote: “Turkey is cheaper than this.”
Another person commented: “Eastern European prices are INCOMPARABLE love it I genuinely fly away just to get my lashes done.”
“Looks like I’m going to Russia,” penned a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Same here in Canada! So expensive love going to Russia to get everything done and the quality is unmatched.”
“I actually want the workers to be able to pay bills and eat, so I’d rather pay a bit more tbh. I don’t want to take advantage,” claimed a fifth.
