The Indian Supreme Court has postponed hearing the plea of Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha challenging the summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a Delhi excise policy scam case after three weeks. The court has also combined the petitions of Kavitha and others with similar claims. Kavitha had claimed protection from arrest and challenged ED summons. The ED has accused her and others of paying kickbacks to the Aam Aadmi Party to increase market share in Delhi under the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy for 2020-21. So far, ED has arrested 12 people in the case.
