And it’s a good idea for those who want to get experience driving an electric car before diving in and purchasing one.
Leasing has become popular in recent years, with more than four-fifths of all-electric cars (excluding Tesla) leased, News from Wales reports.

MG MG4 from £299 per month
The MG4 EV is a small family car produced by the Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor under the British MG marque.
This car’s 64kWh battery gives an estimated range of about 225 miles.
Citroën e-C4 from £300 per month
The Citroen e-C4 is equipped with a 50kWh that allows you to travel up to 219 miles.
Offered as a front-wheel drive model, it can accelerate from 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds, with a top speed of 93 mph.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 from £455 per month
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a compact crossover SUV produced by Hyundai since 2021.
There are two battery versions of the Ioniq 5 – the 58kWh standard version and 77.4kWh longer range version.
Tesla Model 3 from £480 per month
The Model 3 is offered with rear or all-wheel drive, while the Performance model is capable of 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds.
