I spent £30k on surgery after being inspired by Katie Price – but I ruined my body & regretted it all, says Holly Hagan
HOLLY Hagan has revealed she spent £30,000 on surgery over the years – inspired by Katie Price.
The Geordie Shore star listed every operation she’s had in her new newsletter – but admitted she regretted it all.
Detailing how she had her first boob job at age 18, Holly, now 30, reveals that it cost her £4,000 on finance but after she lost weight, she wanted a second operation.
Less than a year later, she went from a FF to a GG – saying she “looked at people like Katie Price” before committing to the surgery.
In 2014, Holly got lip fillers and Botox – ending up with what she calls “sausage lips”.
Then, in 2017, she had a Brazilian bum lift – where fat is liposuctioned from another part of the body and injected into the bum.
But, dissatisfied with the result, just a few months later, Holly flew to Turkey for a second BBL – and ended up terrified.
Holly reveals she paid £5k for the procedure – which costs around £15k in the UK – but says it wasn’t worth it and she was scared and covered in blood after the operation.
A third BBL happened in January 2017 – meaning she’d had three operations in less than a year – but says that it “made it worse” and it was a “really low time”.
Holly’s final surgery happened in 2019 where she had a boob reduction surgery that took her from a FF cup to a DD cup – and finally learned to lose weight sustainably.
Holly – who is now married to PT Jacob Blyth and is pregnant with her first child – started working out with a trainer in an effort to slim down for her engagement party.
She lost 16lbs and has since done a course in nutrition and ‘exercise to music’ course – which is a fitness instructor class.
Speaking in 2020, Holly revealed: “Surgery made my body image 1000 times worse. I went in with the expectations that I was going to finally be happy and have the perfect body after.
“Not only have I ended up heavier than I’ve ever been after two months, but I was twice as wide too. I looked awful and it was upsetting.
“I had so much guilt and shame that I spent so much money and looked worse than before.
“Having surgery doesn’t change your lifestyle or your diet or exercise routine. If all of those factors stay the same, the majority of people will end up looking worse than before.”
