The Comptroller and Auditor General of India has reported that the replacement of old artillery guns with new ones has been progressing slowly for over two decades. The report also highlights several issues in certain departments under the Ministry of Defence, including the inadequate equipment available to provide medical services to residents and the insufficient funds allocated to building capital assets in selected Cantonment Boards.
