Amex only allows you to earn the welcome bonus for each of its cards once per lifetime. So if you've had one of the above cards before, you're not eligible to earn a welcome bonus again. Because of this rule, it's good to wait until the bonuses are at their highest — and now's that time.
We're focused here on the rewards and perks that come with each card. These cards won't be worth it if you're paying interest or late fees. When using a credit card, it's important to pay your balance in full each month, make payments on time, and only spend what you can afford to pay.

Amex Delta credit cards give you the ability to use Delta miles in a way that non-cardholders can't. They unlock a feature called Pay With Miles, making your points worth a flat 1 cent each to book Delta airfare. This is a great feature if you don't want to worry about blackout dates or award availability.
However, Insider estimates that Delta miles are worth 1.1 cents each, on average, when booking award flights. And if you know the best ways to use Delta miles, you can get significantly more value.
