Sarah Platt caught betraying husband Adam in Coronation Street
ADAM Barlow has had several disagreements with his wife Sarah Platt in recent weeks.
But the Coronation Street character portrayed by Tina O’Brien takes thing to another level by betraying him next week.
The couple have disagreed in the past about building a family together.
While the solicitor played by Sam Robertson is keen to get started, the Underworld PA is focused on her career as new opportunities have come to her.
With their intentions being misaligned, there’s high risk Sarah could turn all of her attention to another man – Weatherfield thug Damon hay (Ciarán Griffiths).
Coming up on ITV next week, Sarah stops by the solicitor’s office, where she finds Damon and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown).
Dee-Dee can’t help but notice the chemistry between the both of them.
Later on, Damon finds Sarah eating alone in the Rovers and reminds her that his only intention is to get her into bed.
How will she respond to his advances?
Sarah learned that Adam agreed to represent Damon in an attempt to save Barlow Legal Services.
However, Sarah only found out who Damon was when she was caught with him at a hotel by Adam and she was far from happy her husband accepted to do business with the criminal.
Damon is most notably responsible for drug dealings in the Bistro, led by Sarah’s half-brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).
After another disagreement with Adam, shown in recent scenes of the Manchester-based drama, Sarah left to enjoy their date plans at a hotel alone.
She bumped into Damon for the first time during her stay, unaware of who he was, and the encounter nearly escalated when she invited him back to her room.
Soap bosses have teased an upcoming romance for Damon Hay and he’s due to embark on a shock affair with a well-established Corrie lady – could it be Sarah?
Viewers will have to wait and see but tensions are likely to arise in other scenes of the long-running program.

When Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) refuses to allow Sam Blakeman to go to her Easter egg hunt, explaining it isn’t safe for the young boy to be around Nick due to Damon’s presence, Sarah sees red.
She tears a strip off Damon and tells him that because of him and his thugs, Sam is too scared to come round to their house and it’s time for him to put things right.
What will Damon do?
