THE One Show’s Jermaine Jenas raised eyebrows with a ‘low blow’ swipe at his co-stars age.
The former professional footballer turned TV presenter was hosting the flagship BBC show with Alex Jones.

Since 2019 BBC’s Watchdog series was scraped and replaced with a segment on The One Show.
Presenter Matt Allwright joined Jermaine and Alex on the sofa to bring viewers the latest from Watchdog.
He raised the important issue of pensions and how people can get the most out of theirs.
However, the conversation quickly turned personal as Matt, 52, told Jermaine: “You’ve got just four months to sort out your pension JJ.”
The 40-year-old host quickly snapped back and said: “Wow, I think yours is a bit closer than mine though mate.”
The pair continued to joke as Matt declared: “How dare you! I love it, you’re absolutely right.”
But the slagging didn’t end there as when the segment came to an end Matt got one last dig in.
Wrapping up he said: “This is so important if you are of legal pension age, like me, like you, like all of the camera team.”
But Alex and Jones were left stunned for their crew and branded his remark a “low blow” while the studio crew booed Matt.
“That wasn’t in the rehearsals,” added Jermaine.
