My landlord from hell EVICTED me from my flat after I complained it was full of BATS and falling apart
A RENTER was evicted from his hellish apartment after he complained it was full of bats and was falling to pieces.
TikToker @donnyskipper1 took to social media slamming his landlord as he filmed the horrid state of his “luxury” apartment.
In the clip, the man gave viewers a virtual tour of the residential block.
Footage showed the neglect inside the building with bat havens in the roof, stains on the ceiling and plenty of wear and tear on the skirtings.
Following being booted out by his landlord, the US man claimed he wanted to show people what he was dealing with.
He said: “I live in what is called a luxury apartment.
“As you can see here it is called the Lofts.
“There’s a lot to love in a place like this such as the luxurious decorative splatters on the walls.
“Or maybe you are more of a fan of the mysterious stains that sometimes appear in the ceilings – that’s corporate luxury for you.
“Sometimes I do get woken up to bats in my HVAC unit but I pay for pet rent so I guess that’s included.
“Yeah sure, maybe the front door might be split down the centre but you know that’s home for you.
“I am really happy that I have got such a caring corporate landlord.”
He later revealed monthly rent at the residential complex ranged from £1,412 to £2,474.
The video has more than 50,000 views and left other renters gobsmacked.
“You have an indoor bat feature… how luxurious,” a TikTok user said.
“Every place I have lived at that has ‘luxury’ attached to its name has been an absolute dumpster fire,” one added.
“Never been so happy I didn’t rent there,” a second remarked.
“I am so sick of this, then they have the audacity to charge more every year,” a third commented.
“Nothing like fearing for your life in a luxury apartment,” another claimed.
Horror rentals have trended online and sparked heated debates.
