Avaada Energy has won a 421 MW solar project from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) in a competitive bidding process. The project will be commissioned within 18 months, generating approximately 750 million units of green energy per year and reducing 698,250 tonnes of CO2 emissions. A power purchase agreement will be signed for 25 years, and the plant has the potential to power 500,000 households in the Damodar River area of Jharkhand and West Bengal.
