A group of passengers flying from Paris to New York skipped passport control and customs due to a 'disembarkation issue'

Just about a week after Norse Atlantic Airways flew its first flight from Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, the airline has already goofed.
After landing at Terminal 7 at JFK on the evening of April 4, a group of passengers got off the plane and walked straight to the exit without having to go through any immigration check by the US Customs and Border Protection, the airline confirmed in a statement to Insider.
"We are investigating a disembarkation issue that took place on arrival at New York JFK on Tuesday evening concerning a Norse Atlantic Airways flight from Paris," the statement said. "A small number of customers who did not clear US immigration have been directly contacted regarding this matter."
US Customs and Border Protection did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The low-cost carrier is fairly new to the transatlantic flight scene. It was founded in March 2021, and its first flight took off in June 2022.
It crosses the Atlantic, connecting the US with European destinations in Germany, Norway, the UK, France, and Italy — similar to Norwegian Air's old routes. Norse's New York to Paris route, which was inaugurated on March 26, has one-way flights starting at 269 Euros, or around $300.
Norwegian's transatlantic flights between Europe and the US ended in March 2020 due to the pandemic and the airline announced in early 2021 shortly after filing for bankruptcy they would not return.
Norse's fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners — sourced from Norwegian — are named after national parks around the globe, like Raet in Norway and Yosemite in California.
