Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya advised states to be prepared for COVID-19 management and identify emergency hotspots by monitoring influenza-like illness and severe acute respiratory infection cases. He also stressed on ramping up testing and vaccination, enhancing genome sequencing, creating awareness about following Covid-appropriate behaviour and ensuring the readiness of hospital infrastructure.
