A BARTENDER with fiery red hair has revealed her likes and dislikes about her occupation.
She shared that she loves to receive “attention and compliments” but doesn’t appreciate the “weird stuff” men say after they’ve had one too many drinks.
Melody (@blueeyedmelody) is a bartender and content creator, who shares videos related to mental health, style and fashion, and nature.
Sometimes, she also shares her thoughts about random moments in her life on her TikTok account.
In a video on the social platform, she explained that although she rants about uncomfortable experiences while at work, she does love her job.
For the duration of the video, she stood in a back room with a large kitchen door visible behind her.
“I come on here and complain about customers sometimes, but I’m starting to get a little bit worried that you think this is a hate account for compliments, and I swear it’s not,” she said when the video began.
She wore a white short sleeve crop top and drawstring rainbow shorts in a tie-dye style.
“Obviously, I love compliments and attention,” she added. “It’s a spam account for me feeling better about the inevitable weird things that will happen when you combine men, generally, with alcohol.”
Melody reiterated that they say “weird stuff” and is “sorry to break it to you” and didn’t know that she needed to be the one to tell people.
The awkward encounters typically left her flabbergasted and in need of a rant.
“Then, I don’t know what to say back, and I come in here and I complain. That’s it. That’s all. This is the end of the story,” she declared.
“I love my job. I do,” she mentioned in the video’s caption.
After telling viewers how she felt, she concluded the video by quickly saying “great customers and great stories… OK bye!”
