Myleene Klass responds as fans point out ‘safety issue’ with latest bikini snap
MYLEENE Klass has responded after fans pointed out a “safety issue” with her latest sexy bikini post.
The singer and former I’m A Celeb star looked incredible as she went off for a bike ride in the skimpy white outfit yesterday.
Myleene posted the photo to mark her 45th birthday but her eagle-eyed followers noticed something worrying.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot her untied shoelaces and said it could be dangerous while riding a bike.
One person urged: “Be careful with those shoelaces or you might not make 46.”
Another warned: “If your shoelace caught in your spokes it will rip your leg off. Word to the wise.”
“Be careful, your lace is undone.” someone else commented.
Myleene said she was inundated with messages from concerned fans.
The radio star took to social media to address it, writing : “The outrage I’ve had over this photo.”
The mum-of-three then shared a clip of her carefully tying her Sketchers lime green trainers and joked: “You’ll love this if you love laces.”
Myleene returned to one of her most famous ever looks in her white bikini.
However, some were astonished by her age – insisting she looked years younger.
Myleene captioned the snap: “45 be like… Thank you for all your lovely HBD messages, for your support and love.
“Here’s to the next 45 years my friends. I’m off for a bike ride, a swim and some cake!”
Mum-of-three Myleene rose to fame in the pop group Hear’Say before becoming a TV presenter, including a brief stint on Loose Women.
In 2006, she appeared in the I’m A Celeb jungle and provided the series with one of its most iconic scenes.
Her turn in the camp waterfall wearing the white bikini is still referenced as one of the show’s best-remembered moments.
The bikini was later auctioned for charity to help victims of the collapse of Farepak and its hampers scheme, raising £7,500.
Myleene now has her own fashion line with Next, and the swimwear she was wearing in her birth snap is part of the collection.
She told fans: “Before you ask, white bikini out 16th April.”
The star will soon return to I’m A Celeb for its ‘all stars’ series in South Africa.
The special show – made up entirely off former contestants and pre-recorded at the end of last year – will air later this month.
