Timothee Chalamet Will Be Singing in Forthcoming Bob Dylan Biopic & We Know When It Starts Filming
Timothee Chalamet is going to show off a new talent when he becomes Bob Dylan in a forthcoming biopic – his singing skills.
The 27-year-old Bones and All actor signed on to portray the legendary musician back in 2020. However, we soon learned that there would be a wait for filming to begin.
Two years later, Timothee provided an update, confirming that he was preparing himself for the challenging role. Now it seems like that prep work might have entailed vocal lessons.
In a new interview, the movie’s director shared some news about Timothee‘s role and confirmed when filming was set to begin.

While at a recent event, director James Mangold provided an update about the biopic and hinted at what the movie might involve. That included a big revelation about the cast, which will seemingly portray music legends including Joan Baez, Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger alongside Bob.
More importantly, when asked if Timothee was signing in the movie, the director told Collider that “of course” he would be.
James also said that filming was currently set to begin in August 2023. We’ll keep you up to date with any developments as we learn more about the project.
