I’m always up for hot adventurous sex but he still cheats on me

DEAR DEIDRE: I’M the most adventurous lover my man could hope for since I discovered he cheated on me in 2021.

I look after myself, keeping fit, dressing stylishly and have a high- maintenance beauty regime.

I am 33 and my boyfriend is 34. We have been together for eight years and have sons of two and four.

So why has he been unfaithful to me again? I feel humiliated.

It doesn’t make any difference how hard I try – he can’t help himself.

When I originally caught him ­texting girls two years ago he denied straying but I showed him the proof.

Finally he apologised and said he’d been missing sex with me after the birth of our second child.

We talked it through and managed to move on, and I’ve made big efforts to keep our sex life exciting.

I bought sexy underwear, booked nights away and we tried out some new sex toys together.

He seemed to be loving it and I’ll admit, our lively love life made me feel empowered and sexier than ever.

But then a couple of weeks ago I saw a message on his phone pop up from one of the women he’d cheated with before.

Instantly I knew he was playing away again. Reading the message chain was heartbreaking and his last message to her was: “I’d risk everything, just to have one more BJ.”

I haven’t told him that I know. Why am I not enough?

After putting so much effort into resurrecting your relationship, his infidelity will be a proper body blow.

Men may cheat for many reasons, even if they feel good about things in their relationship – and it’s NEVER because their partner isn’t good enough for them.

So do not blame yourself for his behaviour. He must take responsibility for straying. It is possible to rebuild your relationship after cheating, even repeated infidelity, but he has to be committed to change.

Talk to him about what you have discovered. Why has he strayed again?

Does he want to try again and can you really trust him?
