US to kick off 2023 Gold Cup at Soldier Field, Mexico open hostilities in Houston, as title chase hits 14 cities in 22 days
April 19 – The USA kick off the group stages of the 2023 Gold Cup at the 63,000-capacity Solder Field in Chicago on June 24 against Jamaica. The US are looking to defend the title won in 2021 against Mexico. In 2019 the US lost at Soldier Field in the final to Mexico.
The following day the group of death – Group B – will open with a double header at the 72,000-capacity NRG Stadium in Houston,
