Katie Price gets back in Range Rover for first time since drink-drive crash that saw her banned from driving
KATIE Price has been spotted smiling as she got into the driver’s seat of a Range Rover for the first time in two years.
The former glamour model headed out for a drive near her home in West Sussex just days after getting her licence back.
Katie, 44, had been banned from driving following a booze and cocaine-fuelled Range Rover car crash until earlier this month.
She had splashed out on a £60,000 motor, with a personalised number plate, after her two-year ban was lifted.
But after the huge Hummer was listed for sale earlier today, the mother-of-five was seen heading out in a more familiar vehicle.
One year and four months after flipping her former vehicle in a drink-drive smash, she got back in a Range Rover driving seat.
Dressing up for the occasion, Katie opted for an all-pink outfit, as she glammed up with make-up and let her brunette hair down.
She pouted as cameras snapped away at her driving the vehicle, before parking up and stepping out with a pal.
Katie was sentenced in December 2021 after flipping her vehicle while over the drink-drive limit, and was given a suspended 16-week jail term.
Despite her appalling record, her two-year ban after crashing her car during the cocaine-fuelled crash was reduced.
At the time, Judge Amanda Kelly said Price had “one of the worst driving records I have seen”.
But her lawyer negotiated due to her “mental health” at the time of her sentencing and argued PTSD and a suicide attempt was the reason she drove while under the influence.
She completed a drink-drive rehabilitation course to get back on the road early after her sixth ban last year.
It comes after Katie’s new £60,000 Hummer has been put up for sale at a “bargain” price after she was slammed for driving it.
The former glamour model was spotted getting behind the wheel of the three-tonne monster motor wearing slip-on backless shoes.
After she was met with backlash from road safety campaigners yesterday for driving the car in sliders, the motor is on sale.
Despite just days behind the wheel, detailed photos of the Hummer have been now posted online on a car trading site.
The vehicle – detailed as a six-seater SUV registered in 2008 – is now available to buy on car site Auto Trader.
Katie’s £60,000 car is currently listed for a ‘bargain’ price of £28,995.
