A SECOND-HAND shopping fan has shared that getting thrifty doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Social media personality The Anna Edit has revealed her tips for getting the most bang for your buck on preloved clothes.
She specialises in minimalist fashion and sourcing timeless clothes that you’ll get loads of wear out of.
Taking to TikTok, Anna said: “If you wanna buy more second hand clothes but don’t know where to start, allow me.
“Here’s what I suggest buying preloved and from where.”
Anna’s first tip was regarding Levi jeans.
Most people love pairs of Levi’s because the classic styles never go out of fashion.
But there’s something about the vintage washes and fit that fashion fans love.
Anna said: “If you wanna buy vintage Levi’s, I suggest Cheeky’s Online.
“They just have so many styles available.
“I live in mine.”
Cheeky’s stocks classic Levi 501 jeans, as well as the shorts version and jackets from the famous denim brand.
Anna continued: “For coats and jackets, you can’t beat Curate And Rotate.
“I went through a stage of buying anything in a medium from Toteme from Vestiaire Collection.
“But I did buy a lot of Toteme knitwear and I feel like it served me so well.”
The preloved fashion expert also recommended second hand designer auction site Vestiaire Collection for handbags.
She said: “It really is the one for second hand bags as well.
“I got all of my Celine Hobo bags from there.”
For sold out items, Anna recommended scouring Vinted.
She said: “I got these Birkenstock Boston Clogs in taupe from there and I’ve literally waited two years for them to come back in stock.
“That’s a really good place if people don’t take the mick too much with upselling and adding value on top of things as well.
“I’d also recommend Vinted for your everyday basics like vests, T-shirts, denim, that kind of thing.”
Anna has even picked up a vest from designer COS on the popular app for £8.
