This Morning’s Alison Hammond looks slimmer than ever as she reveals intense gym workout
THIS Morning presenter Alison Hammond looked incredible as she revealed her intense gym workout.
The 48-year-old wowed in all black gym wear and colourful trainers as she starred in an Instagram post for health and wellness club Village Gym.
Alison, who presents This Morning every Friday alongside Dermot O’Leary, worked up a sweat doing a number of exercises including the battle ropes, a bit of boxing and walking on the treadmill.
The gym captioned the post: “Alison Hammond showing us how it’s done on the gym floor!
“Sometimes to feel motivated you have to just get up and get it done.”
It comes after it was revealed Alison has landed another huge telly job on a brand new quiz show.
The telly favourite will be a team captain for On Demand alongside Josh Widdicombe, while Rob Beckett takes the helm.
Speaking about the new gig, Alison said: “This will be my first time working with Sky so I’m thrilled to be finally joining the family.
“We all know that I love a bit of telly – when I’m not actually on it, I’m watching it – so I’m going to apply everything I know and have learned over the years and go for the win. Watch out Josh babs!”
Alison was also recently announced as new host of The Great British Bake Off.
She will be taking over from Matt Lucas, who quit the Channel 4 series in December after three years alongside Noel Fielding.
That’s not the only exciting news for Alison as she will be taking to the stage at the Birmingham Hippodrome to star in Jack and the Beanstalk.
“Now this is exciting,” she wrote on Instagram. “The Birmingham Hippodrome have asked if I would like to be in their Panto this year in my home town.
“Er, let me think… YES PLEASE. I’m so excited to be joining the team in Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s going to be a Panto extravaganza.”
