Report: Barcelona ‘crazy’ about Spurs man – Part-exchange bid on the cards
Inter Live have revealed that Barcelona are interested in a summer deal for Tottenham forward Richarlison and could offer Franck Kessie to the North London club as part of the deal to bring the Brazilian to Camp Nou.
We covered a report from Sport on April 21, which claimed that Barcelona would be prepared to sell Kessie amidst Tottenham’s interest in the Ivorian.
It was explained that even though Barca were happy with the midfielder’s performances, they need to trim their wage bill in the summer and would thus be open to cashing in on the former AC Milan man.
The publication added that Spurs could face competition from Inter Milan for Kessie, with the Nerazzurri said to have met with representatives from the Catalan club regarding the midfielder.
However, Inter Live have now suggested that Tottenham may have the upper hand over the Serie A club in the race for Kessie thanks to Barca’s interest in Richarlison.
The report states that Xavi Hernandez wants to sign a centre-forward who can replace Robert Lewandowski in the future and is ‘crazy’ about the Tottenham star.
It is suggested that Barca could offer Kessie to Tottenham as a part of a bid to sign Richarlison.

Even though Richarlison has not done as well as Tottenham would have hoped in his first season at the club, partly owing to injury problems, he has shown enough to suggest that he could be a very useful player.
I am convinced that the next head coach would want to hang on to the Brazilian, given the versatility he offers.
