Leeds Fans Have Seen That Before – Former White On What Star Did Against Leicester

 

The 29-year-old striker has struggled with injuries and form this season and has scored just three times in the Premier League in 28 appearances.

 

Bamford had a golden opportunity to win all three points for Leeds towards the end of the game against Leicester but he could not hit the target from just a couple of yards out.

 

 

The Leeds striker looked shocked and dejected after the miss but former White Mills insisted that it would not have been a major surprise for a lot of the Leeds fans who have been watching him.

 

He insisted that apart from Leeds’ first season back in the Premier League when he scored 17 times, Bamford has always been a player who have squandered some big chances for the Whites.

 

 

Mills said on talkSPORT towards the end of the Leicester game: “There will be Leeds United fans saying we’ve seen that before.

 

“I remember watching several chances like that in the Championship.

 

 

“I know he had that incredible season, 17 goals in the Premier League, but before that when he was playing in the Championship, some of the finishing at times was not the greatest.”

 

Leeds will hope that Bamford finds his scoring boots as they look to secure survival in the Premier League in the final five games of the season.
