I’m midsize – I tried on viral Skims dresses with and without shapewear, I’m ‘obsessed’ with the pink look
A MIDSIZE influencer has compared Skims dresses with and without shapewear.
The content creator embraced her curves before adding Kim Kardashian’s iconic sculpting underwear to the stylish looks.
TikTok user Esperanza Hernandez (@esperanzabh1) explained: “Today we’re going to be reviewing Skims dresses. To be transparent, I’m going to show you without shapewear and with shapewear.”
For her first look of the video, the TikToker tried on the $54 Soft Lounge shimmer long sleeve dress in the color Fuchsia.
“So first up we’re looking without shapewear. You can see the outline of my belly, which is totally fine if that is your vibe,” Esperanza said.
The influencer also modeled the $78 Soft Lounge long slip dress in the color Onyx, also without shapewear.
She told her followers: “I love that the straps are adjustable. Again, this material is very silky on the body.”
Esperanza turned in a circle to show her viewers a full look at the dress.
The content creator explained: “I want you guys to see it from all angles.”
The TikToker then tried on both dresses with her favorite Skims shapewear.
Esperanza said: “So that Skims shapewear is my absolute favorite, I’ve reviewed it before. I gave it a 10 out of 10.
“Look at how much it just pulls the belly up. It really shapes everything out. Just smoothing you out, it’s contouring your figure, which I super appreciate,” she said as she modeled the pink look.
In the caption of the clip, the influencer said: “I loved both of these dresses! The pink one is my absolute favorite! I bought this one to wear on my 30th birthday and did a little at-home photoshoot in it.
“I am OBSESSED with the pink lounge dress,” Esperanza added in the comments section.
Showing her followers the black slip dress, she said: “As you can see, with shapewear it’s definitely contouring those hip dips.
“It’s smoothing me out right here in the front belly area. It’s giving the booty a nice lift,” the influencer continued.
She concluded: “I’m going to give these an eight out of 10. I think the material is very high quality, it’s very stretchy. An effortless piece that you can add to your wardrobe.
“For me to feel absolutely comfortable in this dress I personally have to add shapewear underneath,” Esperanza added.
