This lucky NBA bettor turned a $100 awards parlay into $22K
When the NBA’s annual awards were announced recently, there was at least one person who was just as happy as the winners.
Joel Embiid was voted MVP, Paolo Banchero garnered Rookie of the Year honors, Malcolm Brogdon nabbed Sixth Man of the Year, and Jaren Jackson Jr. — who is staying in Memphis, unlike his now-former teammate Dillon Brooks — was named Defensive Player of the Year.
One bettor had some incredible foresight, or luck, and made a parlay bet on all four players winning those respective awards. The bettor put $100 down on it and cashed out with big-time winnings at $22,863.00.

The wager was made on the Australian betting site Neds. Like the bettor who made more than $8,000 on a $5 MLB bonus bet last month, it is sure to make others extremely envious.
And it’s a bet that could’ve been ruined if Immanuel Quickley had edged out Brogdon in Sixth Man of the Year voting. Brogdon won by just 82 voting points.
