I’m a gym girl – the owner’s wife contacted me to say my outfit was too revealing, but I don’t see a problem with my bra
A WOMAN was dress coded at her gym by the owner’s wife for her “revealing” outfit that many people wear.
The gym-goer regularly posts “relatable” gym content on social media.
Brittany (@brittanysims_) posted a video about how she was “harassed” by the wife of the owner of her gym.
The TikToker filmed herself dancing in the reportedly controversial gym clothes.
The text reads: “When the gym owner’s wife emails you that you can’t wear ‘revealing clothing’ but it’s literally a sports bra and leggings and when other people wear the same thing it isn’t an issue.”
Brittany can be seen wearing a dark red supportive sports bra with full coverage.
She pairs this with high-waisted patterned leggings that leave just her midriff showing.
The TikToker joked that “being hot is so difficult” and accused the wife and co-owner of “straight-up harassment.”
She added that the woman sent her “a whole email about what I wear and including screenshots of my social media content – definitely a bunch of weirdos.”
Viewers were outraged on her behalf with many of them telling her to leave the gym.
Many assumed that the woman was jealous of Brittany with one saying: “Go off. She’s mad you’re hot.”
Another added: “Sounds like the wife has insecurity issues and husband is looking too much.”
Others questioned if there was anything in the gym contract about a dress code, to which Brittany did not respond.
Meanwhile, the more petty TikTok users said they would “flirt with her husband on purpose” and “come in my heels and stage bikini.”
In the caption, she added that the gym refused to “cancel the membership.”
It was later revealed in the comments by Brittany that she was the first one to initiate contact with management after wanting to cancel her membership.
She wrote: “I came to them first telling them to cancel my membership because the owner [her husband] makes me Uncomfy. And that’s when she raged at me.
“They said if I post anything about the gym exposing the name of the company and stuff they’ll try and sue for defamation.”
In a “random update” Brittany made to the post five months later, she confirmed that she “finally got the membership canceled.”
Another gym-goer commented on the post saying: “My gym owner’s girlfriend blocked me from his personal Facebook page and his gym’s Facebook page.”
