Southampton’s Owners Preparing Massive Overhaul At Club

 

The Saints are languishing in bottom place in the Premier League table, with their hopes of staying afloat all but gone.

 

Southampton have been inflicted with predicaments on and off the pitch this season as they have contributed to this season’s flurry of managerial changes twice after sacking Ralph Hasenhuttl and Nathan Jones in the wake of their failure to lift the team from their nadir.

 

 

Amid their virtually confirmed relegation, Sport Republic are being claimed to be planning a massive overhaul ahead of their new campaign in the Championship.

 

Southampton legend Theo Walcott, who has played a pivotal role in the Saints’ few bright moments in the middle of their overall gloomy season, might set the process in motion by departing the club at the end of the season.

 

 

Southampton academy graduate Walcott’s contract at the club is going to expire at the end of the season, and it is being claimed that the former Arsenal forward will not be offered any contract extension.

 

The Saints are yet to play four games, against Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Brighton and Liverpool, to see their calamitous season concluded.

 

 

It remains to be seen whether the players can play their natural games in their remaining fixtures or get engulfed with the thought of their possible destinations amid the claims of their owners plotting big changes.
