Fading fast on Saturday morning
Hello Friends,
Swell’s been dropping steadily since mid-week and Saturday morning saw it down to around the waist to chest-high mark at the better exposures. Out at sea, the swell was 1.3m from the SE at 10–11 seconds. Wind was light and offshore for the early. Tide was dropping to the 0915 low when I grabbed the snaps. It’ll be back to high at 1530. We should see a high of 21 with 0-5mm or showers as we head to a high of 21.
Outlook is for the swell to be just about gone by tomorrow and the outlook is currently for near-flat conditions through to at least midweek when we might get another south pulse…

Weather Situation
A near stationary high pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea while a coastal trough moving along the south coast is bringing a southerly wind change. The trough is forecast to move up the coast this morning then linger offshore during the weekend into early new week, until a cold front that will sweep across the southeast between Tuesday and Wednesday next week pushes it well offshore.
