Baby names at the bottom of the list: America’s most esoteric choices of 2022
The inspiration for baby names can come from anywhere. That’s the takeaway from the choices at the bottom of the popularity list.
The creative parent can look beyond beloved family members and sports heroes and instead name a child after a favorite number, color, city, dessert or sociopathic TV assassin.
Following are some of the names that were each given to five children in the United States in 2022, according to data released Friday by the Social Security Administration. Names given to fewer than five are not released for security reasons. (The not-so-creative top of the list can be found here.)
