Spurs’ Harry Kane names one football landmark he ‘would love to achieve’
Harry Kane has admitted that he now has Alan Shearer‘s Premier League goal record in his sights.
The striker recently surpassed Wayne Rooney‘s Premier League goal tally to become the second top scorer in the competition’s history.
While Shearer is still some way ahead of him with 260 goals to his name, the Tottenham man is certainly on course to achieving it within the next three to four years, needing 52 strikes to overtake the Newcastle legend (PremierLeague.com).
The 29-year-old admitted that while he is driven to clinch the record, he is not looking too far ahead and wants to take things season by season.

As long as Kane does not suffer major injuries, I have no doubt that he will clinch the record by 2026.
In fact, I see the Tottenham man continuing to play at the top level until his mid to late thirties, which is why I can see him going past the 300 mark in the Premier League.
