Primary and secondary education minister Madhu Bangarappa was given a rousing welcome on his arrival to his hometown Shivamogga after assuming office on Saturday. District Congress welcomed him at MRS Circle and the youth Congress took him on a bike rally. Madhu is the third person from the Bangarappa family to become a minister. His father was a CM, and his brother Kumar Bangarappa was a minister.
