Odisha's Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, declared on Sunday that a compensation of Rs 5 lakh will be granted to the relatives of the individuals who lost their lives in the triple train collision near Balasore's Bahanga Bazar. The financial aid will be provided from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The next of kin of the deceased will get an assistance of Rs 5 lakh and those who sustained serious injuries will get Rs 1 lakh as assistance, a statement issued by the CMO said.
