India's Railway Board has recommended a CBI investigation into the triple train collision that took place in Odisha's Balasore and left 275 people dead and more than 1,000 injured. The Centre, along with the state government, is providing support to the injured patients admitted to hospitals in Balasore, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. The final toll has been confirmed as 275, with Chief Secretary P K Jena reporting that some bodies were counted twice.
