Twins place OF Byron Buxton (rib) on injured list
The Minnesota Twins placed outfielder Byron Buxton on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a left rib contusion.
The move was retroactive to Saturday, with the Twins making a corresponding move by returning outfielder Trevor Larnach from the 10-day IL.
Buxton, 29, was injured June 1 when he was hit by a pitch from the Cleveland Guardians' Tanner Bibee during the fourth inning of the Twins' 7-6 home win.
