Man critically injured in Hartford stabbing, person of interest detained
A man was critically injured in a stabbing in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
A person of interest was located and was detained, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Officers responded to 187 Babcock St. at about 12:07 p.m. for reports of a man bleeding and found the victim suffering from a stab wound, according to police.
The man was taken to Hartford Hospital where he was listed in critical condition as of Tuesday evening, police said.
The Hartford police major crimes and crime scene divisions responded to the scene and were investigating.
