World Record Attendance
The attendance world record for a female sporting event is 91,553 for Barcelonas Womens soccer team. On August 30th, Nebraska is hosting a Volleyball Day. Nebraska-Kearney will play Wayne State. Both are DII programs. That will be followed by a match between Nebraska and U of Omaha. Both of those are DI programs.
The matches will be outside at NEs football stadium. Capacity for football is around 85,500. But they will set up a lot more seating on the field with court-side seating. So will they break the world record?
