A light WSW breeze and mostly sunny skies were on hand for a 9-second 1.2 metre ESE swell as Wednesday kicked off along the beaches. Sets looked to be in the chest high range on the bigger ones along the beach. Tide is coming into the 1.35m high at 1035. Weather should be partly cloudy and our high is set to be 21.
From the look of the swell modeling, we should have waves of about the current size again tomorrow and then a bit smaller but still rideable by the weekend.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge across the New South Wales coast, directing onshore east to northeasterly winds. Winds will become north to northeast and strengthen along southern coastal waters during the midweek as a cold front approaches from the west. The front looks set to cross the New South Wales coast between late Thursday and early Friday, and winds will turn west to southwesterly in the wake.
