According to the Kuki Forum, fresh attacks are being planned in Manipur against tribals in collusion with security personnel. On Wednesday, the Kuki Women's Forum submitted a memorandum at Shah's residence urging him to "provide total protection to the Kuki villages by putting a line of military outposts along the foothills of the valley to act as a buffer zone between the Kuki and Meitei settlements," the memorandum stated.
